Hi, I'm Susan...
Iām so glad youāre here!
Iām a farmwife, and I come from a long line of people involved in agriculture. I feel blessed to live on our family farm, where we work together to help feed the world. One of my favorite places to be is around the table with all of our people, enjoying good food and one another.
After staying home with our three sons when they were little, I taught junior high language arts for 25 years. Those years flew by, and Iām grateful for every student who walked into my classroom. (Even the ones who werenāt quite as excited about good books as I was. š)
After the death of a dear friend and a whole lot of soul searching, I turned in my gradebook and stepped into a life I never could have imagined. It was a season of asking God what might still be possibleāand learning that I didnāt have to have the whole adventure mapped out before I said yes.
Two mottos have served me well along the way: My favorite age is now. And if something sounds like fun, isnāt illegal, and wonāt hurt anyone, I usually say YES!
One small yes after another has led to so much goodness.Ā
Those yeses led me to blogging, podcasting, writing a book, and becoming a Master Certified Christian Life Coach with Life Mentoring School. These days, I lead small groups, teach classes, speak at events, and coach women one-to-one and in my Clean Heart Clubhouse.
I love every bit of it. And I especially love sitting with a woman as she begins to ask: What do I believe about who I am? What is God inviting me into? And what might happen if I said yes?
I love my life, and I love helping women love theirs, too. I canāt wait to see where God leads next!
